On Wednesday October 04, Esquimalt High School will be taking interested students to the Canadian Universities Event (CUE) at Oak Bay High School. This event hosts representatives from most of the major universities across Canada and provides students with an opportunity to explore their post secondary options. We will be leaving Esquimalt High School at 10:15 am and travelling to Oak Bay High School by bus. Students will have over an hour at the event. We will be leaving Oak Bay at 11:45 to return to Esquimalt. Students who attend this event will miss their block 2 class. The event is open to grade 10-12 students, but priority is reserved for those students in senior grades. In order to attend the event, students MUST get signed permission from their period 2 teachers and from their parents. PLEASE SEE THE OFFICE FOR THE PERMISSION FORM - they are due September 28, 2017. Seats are limited and will be "first come, first served"

for the 2017-2018 programming year. CVYC is a youth-driven, grassroots program that offers opportunities for civic engagement to youth who live, work, hang out or go to school in the City of Victoria. We believe that youth are key stakeholders and should be included in decisions that affect them and their communities as a whole. The CVYC is funded and hosted by the City of Victoria and is composed of youth ages 14-24 who volunteer their time to build their capacity as leaders and activists to bring about the change they want to see in their city.
